Direct speech adalah kalimat langsung sedangkan reported speech adalah kalimat tidak langsung. Pastinya pembaca sudah pernah mendapatkan materi ini dalam pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, bukan? Nah, bagaimana dengan penggunaan kalimat langsung dan tak langsung dalam Bahasa Inggris?
