Eits, jangan salah, lho. Di ujian, seringkali ada soal yang formatnya percakapan atau dialog. 

Kemampuanmu merespons sebuah situasi secara lisan (atau dalam bentuk tulisan dialog) itu penting banget.

Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk melatih kepercayaan dirimu. Kita akan bedah beberapa contoh “soal” atau prompt percakapan yang sering muncul dari materi kelas 11 semester 1, lengkap dengan contoh dialog jawabannya.

Latihan 1: Percakapan tentang Opini (Expressing Opinions)

Konteks: Soal tipe ini menguji kemampuanmu untuk menyatakan setuju/tidak setuju, memberi saran, dan mempertahankan pendapatmu dengan sopan.

Prompt Soal:

Imagine this situation: Your best friend, Rina, tells you that she wants to quit the basketball team to focus more on her studies for the final exams. Give your opinion and advice to her.

Contoh Dialog Jawaban:

You: “Hey Rina, you look troubled. What’s on your mind?”

Rina: “Hey. Yeah, I’ve been thinking a lot. I think I’m going to quit the basketball team.”

You: “Really? Why the sudden decision? You love basketball.”

Rina: “I do, but the final exams are coming up, and I’m worried I can’t manage my time between practice and studying.”

You: “I see your point, exam preparation is definitely important. However, in my opinion, quitting the team might not be the only solution. Have you considered talking to the coach about a more flexible practice schedule for a while?”

Rina: “Hmm, I haven’t thought about that.”

You: “I believe that with good time management, you can do both. Basketball is a great way to relieve stress from studying too. Maybe you should try to create a study schedule first before making a big decision.”

Rina: “That’s actually a good idea. Thanks for the advice!”

Latihan 2: Percakapan tentang Menawarkan Bantuan (Offering Help)

Konteks: Soal tipe ini menguji kepekaan sosial dan kesopananmu dalam menawarkan bantuan di situasi yang tepat.

Prompt Soal:

Imagine this situation: You see your teacher, Mr. Budi, carrying a heavy pile of books and trying to open the door to the teacher’s office.

Contoh Dialog Jawaban:

You: “Good morning, Mr. Budi. That looks like a lot to carry.”

Mr. Budi: “Oh, good morning. Yes, it’s quite a handful.”

You: “Can I help you with those books, Sir?”

Mr. Budi: “Oh, that would be lovely, thank you so much.”

You: “My pleasure, Sir. Or perhaps, would you like me to get the door for you?”

Mr. Budi: “Yes, please. That would be a great help.”

You: “Here you go, Sir.”

Mr. Budi: “Thank you again for your help. You are very kind.”
